NidiKumba a unique forest retreat set on three acres plot, right next to the Kiridi Oya river. Just across the river lies the magnificent Lunugamvehera National Elephant Park. We're a private, secret, hidden, mystic, and tranquil hotspot on the Kiridi Oya, bordering the national park. Here, you'll love soaking up the local culture, nature, and broad mountain views in the far distance, all within this peaceful nature retreat.
The wilderness is your back yard to enjoy or a Safari ride to see Elephant and more... And yet, it is less than 1 km to the Tanamalwila town of (T'wila). Distance to Lunugamvehera National Park gate 2.5km, while 10km to Udawalawe Elephant National Park, and 22km to Yala. You are literally in the middle of Forests and 20 km from the foot of mountains and yet have all the amenities while in the towns of T'wila. You can explore the National Forests, the mountain and local communities at your leisure.
NidiKumba is a great midway stopover point on the way to Arugambay. Arugam Bay is a popular surfing and tourist destinationis situated in the dry zone of Sri Lanka's southeast coast. The bay is located 380km due east of Colombo on Sri Lanka's winding roads.
